Mission & History

Research and development in NTC, as any other dynamic organization, is a total process. In other words, everybody in organization plays its own role in this process. The R&D department is owner of part of the process that is named “Product”. In other words, this department is responsible for innovating new technologies for products as per customer requirements visualized through Sales department.
In 1999 NTC established the research and development department in order to perform technical and strategic programs and offer new products to the market. The department performs the feasibility studies and justification of new ideas and provides required information for decision makers on needed technologies and new products.
During past years, R&D has achieved different tasks, including, answering technical questions on products and processes and negotiating with well known manufacturers worldwide such as ABB, Koncar, HSP (Siemens), Trench, Micafil. Now, we are self-confident and deeply-experienced in H.V. technologies such as AOK, IMB, HVB, CC and CVT. But we are still in middle of the way and have a long route in order to transfer our cutting-edge technologies to the world.

Planning for future:
As mentioned before, R&D main target is developing of new products with support of our experts, well-equipped H.V. labs, and dynamic project structure From viewpoint of planning, R&D knows its roadmap for the following 10 years and has a detailed schedule for achieving the goals.

Seminars, conferences & training courses.

The results of our past researches have been published in different technical forums. As a part of our research aim, R&D is so eager and ardent in presenting its achievements in high voltage engineering forums.
Also, R&D has the capability to present different training courses in advanced high voltage engineering issues. Some selected training courses are as follow:

– Installation, operation and maintenance of HV Instrument transformers. (For commissioners and operators)
